Ben Olivares es diseñador, publicista y fotógrafo profesional con mas de 18 años de experiencia en diseño de imagen y en el desarrollo de conceptos creativos y de alto impacto visual para empresas y particulares.

Es editor del blog de fotografía FOTO MX, uno de los blogs de fotografía escritos en español mas visitados en iberoAmerica. En 2007 se convirtió en el primer instructor en México en ofrecer capacitación del software Adobe Photoshop Lightroom y actualmente es parte del equípo de fotografos profesionales que integran el cuerpo docente que imparte el diplomado de fotografía del ITESO.

Como originario del estado que vio nacer el Tequila, Ben a dedicado gran parte de su tiempo libre en fotografiar en incontables ocasiones los pueblos, haciendas y caminos que integran la Denominación de origen del Tequila, y su Paisaje Agavero, designado por la UNESCO como patrimonio cultural de la humanidad.

Este Photoblog es una muestra permanente de mi trabajo con una visión personal de la tierra del Tequila, contiene la colección de fotografías mas grande del mundo relacionadas a esta espirituosa bebida, y tiene como principal objetivo: difundir en toda la red, el Paisaje Agavero, la cultura del Tequila, y su denominación de origen.

After being in the graphic design industry for more than 18 years, I realized that I didn´t want to be just sitting behind my computer any more, so at age of 40, I decided to turn my hobby into a career and combine my experience in developing creative concepts with my love for photography.

I am editor of the FOTO MX blog, one of the best photography blogs in Latin America. In 2007 I became the first instructor in Mexico to provide training for the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software, currently I´m part of the team of professional photographers that teaches the diploma of photography at the ITESO University in Guadalajara

As a native of the region of Tequila, I had devoted much of my free time photographing on countless occasions, the pueblitos, haciendas and roads that make up the appellation of origin of Tequila, and the Agave Landscape, designated by UNESCO as a world heritage landmark.

This Photoblog is a permanent exhibition of my work with a personal vision of the land of Tequila, contains the largest collection of photographs related to this spirit drink, and its main objective: to spread throughout the network, the Agave Landscape, Tequila culture and it´s appellation of origin.

Each shoot is a creative journey that takes us beyond the expected and into new realms.

My ultimate satisfaction lies in creating memorable images for clients, advertisers, consumers and myself.

I love what I do and enjoy collaborating with those who share my passion.

Life is too short to do it any other way.
